Andrea Haler McConnell

She/Her
Andrea as CEO oversees a team of about 300 tutors of whom 120 work for No Need To Study full time. Her role is improving our tutor hiring and vetting system. And, making sure that our tutors are skilled in assisting clients and familiar with the various learning platforms. A key component for our success over the last 9 years has been our thorough screening and qualification process. Andrea lives in New York with her husband and 2 children. She serves on the board of Angelic Arms, a nonprofit dedicated to helping sibling groups stay together during foster care.
Oliver A. Warburg

Twice named by his universities alumni group in their top 30 under 30 lists Oliver has been hailed as an important disruptor of the online tutoring space. At the age of 21 while working to get his BS, Oliver started No Need To Study. Oliver is broadly interested in statistical analysis with applications focusing on computational biology, health care and chemistry. He holds a BS and a PhD. In high school, private tutoring helped him move from an F to an A+ in AP math. Making him realize how tutoring can make a dramatic difference leading him to see great value in this.
Jeffrey Collins
Head of Operations

Jeffrey manages operations at No Need To Study, he focuses on the customer support side of operations primarily. Jeff puts to good use his degree in organizational management to ensure that every part of No Need To Study is measured and analyzed to improve key metrics, he is most passionate about improving his most favored however intangible metric – terribilità (awesomeness as Italians would say). He also makes a mean Vanilla Latte we’ve all found hard to live without. Jeffrey is an autodidact. He lives in New York with his pet terrier.
Kelly R Seraphin

Kelly was a highly gifted self-taught C++ programmer before joining No Need To Study at the age of 17, she signed on as an intern and never left. She has a real gift in analyzing business operations with a keen eye to optimize for efficiency and tackling leverage points to increase key metrics such as customer satisfaction and ensuring orderly process execution and deep evaluation. She has a fondness for Python, Kotlin and broader interest in computational linguistics focusing on Natural Language Processing and Generative adversarial networks.

As relatively small participants in the vast and robust ecosystem that is American Academia we’d love nothing more than to say our clients are diverse and from many different backgrounds but that would be contra-factual. In reality our clients fit a very specific profile and demographic, they are all smart, intelligent, highly motivated and pragmatic students who instinctively realize that getting ahead in academia and in today’s job market requires them to be pragmatic. To take actions that will be most impactful with leverage. They realize that succeeding in life requires them to figure out and use every edge they can. This has often lead them to our tutoring services – we feel we’re an edge in the arsenal of students. We work hard to add value to the greater ecosystem in this capacity.
